19 August 2026 Workshop: Marine Spatial Planning Data Governance (Copy) (Copy)

We’re looking forward to bringing everyone together for the next stage of this work, building on the agency and stakeholder discussions that have already taken place last week at the Oceans Accounts Workshop and 1-on-1s. Over the coming days, we’ll be working together to validate our understanding of Niue’s marine data landscape, data custodianship and access arrangements, and begin mapping stronger governance arrangements to support marine spatial planning and decision-making.

For Day 1, we’ll focus on bringing together the findings from the initial consultations, validating the data landscape and custodianship information, and beginning our collective discussions around data governance.
